Description

Extraction method: Harvested by hand in small villages by women in Western Africa. Extracted in a traditional, non-chemical process. 100% pure, raw, and refined.

Shelf life: 24 - 36 months when stored properly.

Storage: Keep sealed in a cool, dark place. Heat, oxygen, and light degrade the product.

Application / Usage

In cream and lotion making, add to oil phase. Melts between 32-46C. Soft at room temp. To prevent grainy texture, heat slowly in a double boiler; if combining with other butters or waxes, add higher melting-point ingredients first. Cool slowly. When cooling, stir constantly until oil comes to a trace (stirring rod leaves indentations in oil). In cleanup, wipe excess from bowls and tools with paper towel to prevent damage to sinks and pipes.
